1929 Packard 645 Sport Phaeton
This car carries the very desirable and beautiful Sport Phaeton coachwork by Dietrich. The 8-cylinder was designated the 645 for 1929 and was offered in an astounding 21 body styles. Our car was ordered in 1928 by President Chacon of Guatemala and carries a bullet hole in the base of the windshield frame from a bullet that was aimed at the President while he was driving. This car is beautifully restored today with special features such as dual mounted spares, trunk with 3 pieces of luggage, pilot rays, side mounted mirrors and fish tail bumpers. It still shows today receiving a class award for 2001 at the Concours de Elegance at NHIS.
