1956 Jaguar XK140 Roadster
Six years after the launch of the XK series came the XK 140. Jaguar had many stunning deluxe features as standard equipment. But it's more exhilerating performance was what set it apart from the competition. It could cover a standing quarter mile in 16.6 seconds and cruise comfortably at 100 MPH. Fitted with a dual-overhead cam, 6-cylinder (210 cu. in.), it developed 190 HP with its 4-speed transmission.
