| Our magic car - the one most adored (mainly by men over 35) is our AC Cobra. Ours is a small block 289 4-speed, blue and white stripes with wire wheels and half roll bar which makes this the real thing. New it cost about $6000 in 64 and a few were sold. Now about one hundred times that amount, they are most in demand among high performance sports cars. Total figures of production are less than 100 per year. Imitation is attempted, and this is no exception. Thousands of replicas are stamped out copying this legend, but they are not the real thing. Our star car, the 64 AC Cobra, is the real thing. | |
